Turns out that dried, boiled cod still tastes like cod, but has the texture of tripe. Who knew? Meatballs were quite satisfying, fried before they were gravied. (Yes! Fry first, ask questions later). Other notable thing was aquavit, with a burn similar to Korean soju.
