On Saturday my boyfriend and I had a quick lunch at Ti Couz on 16th & Valencia. I've heard many good things about this place so I was really looking forward to a wonderful lunch. We both had a crepe with organic tomatoes in basil butter, caramelized onions and cheese. The first bite was unreal. I immediately decided that this was my new favorite spot for brunch. But once I got halfway through the crepe it became way to rich. I think it my have been a combination of the caramelized onions and the cheese...it was just too much! I'll probably try the salmon crepe next time or anything without cheese. I also had an oyster shot which came in a salsa-type concoction. It was pretty good...I wouldn't order it again though. Total for two crepes, two Fat Tire ales, one oyster shot, plus tip was $38...for a young girl who doesn't like to spend money it was overpriced. This is a perfect place to take parents when they're in town (and paying, haha) but not somewhere I'd stop randomly when in the Mission. Service was sometimes really friendly and sometimes really flippant, depending on who was helping us at that moment.
