I will be going to Alinea at 6 pm on Friday and therefore do not want to be stuffed but want to make the most of my 2 days in Chicago. The wife will want to shop and would like to have a good lunch spot picked out. I don't care about type of cuisine or cost; I just want something really good. I would also prefer that it not take more than an hour and a half at the very most. Any ideas? Is Fulton's on the River worth a lunch visit?
Also, tomorrow I will be going to a Cubs game and would like to get an idea about lunch on the way or around Wrigley. I will be taking the L there from Chicago (Red) line. I would love to try Hot Dougs but that may be a bit out of the way. Should I even try to make a stop or should I just head to Wrigley, go to a nearby bar, and wait for a hot dog in the stadium? Any info would be helpful. Thanks so much for any help.
