Lunch at Pearsons

Seth Ditchik | Nov 24, 1998 12:20 PM

Had lunch at Pearson's this afternoon; it just rams
home what a loss this is. Sat in the back at one of
the steel picnic table, probably for the last time,
and savored the amazing chopped pork sandwich. Even
if they do reopen in Manhattan, I can't imagine that
it would be the same. Eating bbq on some side street
in the village surrounded by tourists and brownstones
just isn't the same as chowing down on an industrial
block in LIC. Sniff.
