Lunch @ New Nuba in Kits Today

Slouched into the new Nuba @ 3116 W Broadway today-sat in a corner near the kitchen gazed around & the flashbacks came fast & heavy.

Of course this was the old Orestes and the feel is still there in part from the redecorating the Nuba crew has done and partially my own sentimentality-Yes Those Were The Days.

Ordered Najib's special wrap and a bowl of soup-both great but they're adding more salad to the wraps and it makes for a messy meal-a plate would have been more suitable but the food was tasty and that's what counts.

Service was prompt & circumspect the only jarring note being some character dressed like he was about to change a truck tire (as I would have been back in the 70's).

It's certainly worth your while to stop by even if you don't remember the Greek incarnations or more recently Andy's brawling bar-the space looks/feels great.
