Hello - I was hoping you could give me advice for a lunch spot somewhere in the Bra, Alba (Langhe) vicinity. We are a family of four traveling to Europe for the first time. Our kids are teenagers and are pretty adventurous eaters, but there's a few things we don't eat, so having a choice is usually a successful plan. We will be coming from Nice to Cervo and then making our way up to Turin.
I recently discovered this area and it's like finding a hidden treasure. So instead of waiting to eat lunch in Turin, we'd love to stop in this area for lunch. That said, our time is limited. Unfortunately, we are not able to spend several hours (next time). But we'd love to have a great lunch, sip some wine and take in the landscape. We will have a car. Visiting on a Sunday in June. Cost isn't a factor.
I notice many recommend Il Centro (Priocca), but I cannot tell if this restaurant would be appropriate if we are looking to stop for just 1-2 hours. And I'm not sure if the lunch menu is prix fixed. I would very much appreciate your recommendations/thoughts/advice. Thank you.
