Lunch in / around Kimmel Center

I am taking my 14yo daughter to see Annie on 11/25 2pm. Thinking of taking the train into 30st. station and maybe a cab or subway downtown and eating before the show. I see that the Kimmel center has a Rest. in it, is it worth while or would we be better eating else where? It should be within close walking distance as she has a disability and lot's of walking isn't in the cards. Seafood is great and any place with calamari is definately ok with her (she's addicted to it I think). A place with a smoke free area is very necessary. I was thinking maybe something like the Samson St. Oyster House also. BTW I'm her dad not that it should make a differance. Thank you for any ideas.
