Heading over to Lyon in 1 month for an 8 day stay. Will be housed in East side of the city and will have a car as I'm planning side trips to Michel Bras, Pic, and Troisgros.
Generally keeping my planning to 2 meals per day, compared to far more filled trips to Paris and London in the past, I have two slots open at this point - a Tuesday lunch and Saturday dinner. Already doing many of the gastronomic temples in the area, so looking for well prepared classics - quenelle, coq au vin, terrines and charcuterie, etc. Not a big wine guy, but French cheeses and bread would also work well. Already have reservations at Cafe Comptoir Abel and Brasserie Georges, plus Mere Brazier to cover some of that.
Open to all thoughts, with one additional question - that being whether the Bocuse Nord/Sud/Ouest/Est spots are worth it if already doing the flagship?
