In February 2019 I had a thoroughly enjoyable business lunch at Beast & Bounty. Fortunately, my colleague was game to share plates and we loved every bite.
The name and menu concept is meant as the union of meat-forward with plant-based options. Another signature tag line is “neck tattoos and truffes”, which goes over my head. But no matter, we were delighted with our shared meal. Beast Burger with a side salad and the Lamb Gyro with sweet potato fries, both executed superbly with bold and intricate layers of flavor, on point texture, and remarkable skill in developing flavor and marking on the wood-fired grill.
The grand opening of the new concept, a massive open air Pizza and Natural Wine Garden is scheduled for August 6.
