Lunch alternative to L'Osier

mjgauer | Jan 6, 201104:25 AM

Hi all

I'm currently planning the Tokyo portion of a trip i'm making mid/late February.

The exchange rate is carving a pretty brutal path through my initial dining plans but still keen on one relatively extravagant meal at a 2/3 Michelin style spot.

I had my heart set on L'Osier but have just found theyre booked up for lunch on the days i've tried. I picked L'Osier as their 5600Y lunch menu seemed remarkably good value compared to many places and have read a lot of good things.

My question is whether anyone can suggest a comparable place that has a lunch offer in this kind of budget range.

My initial thought is Sushi Saito but, we we're planning on hitting Sushi Dai the previous day so may fancy something a little different.

My second questions is whether anyone has had experience of being on the L'Osier waiting list (which i'm on) - is there much chance of securing a spot?

Any comments much appreciated.

Michael
