Hi, I'd love to hear about your favorite inexpensive lunch options in Alameda for tomorrow (Sunday). All ethnicities (except Thai) as well as brunchie type places are welcome.
Recently I went to an Alameda restaurant that I'd like to find again. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name or the exact address. Maybe if I describe it someone will be able to - "Name that Restaurant!"
and give me the general cross streets. It's right on the water near the bridge, there's a bar downstairs - actually I think there's a bar upstairs too, there are peanut shells all over the floor, they have an upstairs outside deck - tables with umbrellas, the Niman Ranch Office was in a building quite close, the food was inexpensive/moderate all-American bar food and fish. The fried calamari was out of this world fantastic.
