I've been going to Luna Park for several years now and easily called it my favorite restaurant in LA b/c I could always count on them for a good affordable meal in a fun setting. Well, recently, I had dinner at Luna Park this past New Year's Eve, and then again 2 weeks ago, expecting nothing but their great consistency in food and service. There was something different about their food both times. And it wasn't just my plate, it was all the entrees that my friends and I ordered. The mashed potatos and veggies were too salty, the flank steak wasn't as tender (even at medium rare), the pork chops were more on the dry side. Was it just an unlucky 2 nights this month for me, or is something going on? (FYI - it was just the entrees, the goat cheese fondue was perfect as always, the drinks wonderfully strong, service excellent.)
Thanks for any input!
