Lucques/AOC and other itinerary questions...

highlyunlikely | Dec 28, 201701:40 PM

We just booked a last-minute trip to LA for a few days and have reservations at Lucques for NYE dinner. Is it overkill to also go to AOC? I am a huge fan of Suzanne Goin's books so am tempted to try both places, but this is our first time in LA so I don't want to miss out on other unique experiences.

We also have breakfast reservations at Gjelina, but that's all I've had a chance to book so far. Based on what I have read so far on this board, we may head to Ricky's Fish Tacos and Langer's for lunches. We may try to get to Nobu in Malibu if the weather is nice, but also don't want to break the bank so will do some research and make sure it's worth it.

We are staying in West Hollywood for a few days and then heading to a hotel in Santa Monica near the beach. Any recommendations near our hotels would be great - as well as anything close to the usual tourist spots (ie. Getty, Griffith Park, Universal Studios). We are open to anything as long as it's delicious (and ideally unique to LA)!

Nobu Malibu,
Ricky's Fish Tacos,
