Went back for my second visit to this newly opened little gem near my school. Only open about a month and little improvements each time. The new sign just says "thai" but the old temporary sign and their take-out menu says "thai and lao" cooking. Had the papaya salad on the last visit which was perfect and very spicy. This time had Salmon w/ green curry (med)- lots of huge salmon chucks perfectly cooked along with broccoli, carrots, green beans, basil, zucchini and coconut milk. My S.O. had his favorite Pad Kee Mao, which had a good sauce (not too sweet or salty), tofu, broccoli, baby bok choy, egg, and basil.
This place is significantly less expensive than other thai places I belive. They have an abundance of seafood choices on the menu (bass, salmon, scallops, prawns in many different combos) for $6.95! The only menu item above that was $8.95 for a seafood combo of all of the above + calamari.
The owner is the server and his wife and daughter the cooks (I believe). They are very kind. Had about 10 people dining in the very small place last night while there.
For vegetarians offer fresh tofu, fried tofu, just vegggies, or wheat gluten (seitan). Have free delivery too.
