Which lu'au? HHV, Kalamaku or neither?

Christina D | Jan 26, 201501:49 PM     1

We'll be in Waikiki for two full days before boarding the Pride of America in late June. We're bringing our two teenagers and would like to attend a commercial lu'au (if my husband and I ever go back alone, we'll definitely check out an authentic church event). There is an option to go to the Kalamaku lu'au in Nawiliwili, Kauai as an excursion. Or, we'll be staying in the Embassy Suites in Waikiki and could go to the HHV before the cruise. Would you recommend one over the other? Or, are there other commercial lu'au's that you would choose over either? Mahalo!
