I recently posted a message on the Southwest Message Board, (I live in Albuquerque), but I haven't received any responses to my question. I'm hoping that the San Francisco chowhounds can come to my rescue. I had dinner recently at a local Chinese restaurant. Being a native New Yorker, I find most of the Chinese food in Albuquerque leaves a lot to the imagination. I eat at this particular restaurant (East Ocean) because they specialize in sea food. I love clams, so I ordered Clams in Szchuan Sauce. Not bad for Albuquerque. I noticed on the menu, there was an item called Lu Yu. I asked my waitress what this was. She told me it was a kind of fish. I asked her what kind. She didn't know. Can anybody tell me what Lu Yu is? I would appreciate any help. Thanks!
