If any of you Chowhounds are in the Lowell, MA area July 26 and Jul 27 you might be interested to know that the city hosts the Annual Folk Festival. Ethnic foods from all over the world are featured along with great music, arts and crafts, from same. Here's a link to their writeup from last year.
Admission to the several music stages is free, but the foods costs.

Lowell, MA is an ethnically diverse community: Greek, Italian, Laotians, Cambodians, Vietnamese, Nigerians, Hispanic (Puerto Rican, Columbian, Argentinian), Portugese, Brazilian and more. The food tents are run by non-profit groups from each of the ethnic groups so there is always authentic fare.
