I wasn't impressed by Loveless. The atmosphere lived up to the hype, and I was only there for one meal, but I thought the legendary ham tasted sickeningly like fatback. Pure, unadulterated raw pig. And my eggs were fried, of course, in that fat, so they weren't a hit either. Did I just hit Loveless on a bad day? At least the biscuits were killer - six of those spread with preserves and honey and the ham was just a putrid memory.
