A little love for La Maison's du Chocolat florentine cookies...

I've been a huge fan of La Maison du Chocolat since my backpacking days in Paris and they remain some of my favourite chocolates in the world. Visiting this week, I decided to stock up on a few treats including a couple of their florentine cookies, which I brought home to share with my husband. I haven't had these cookies in years and they are, in my humble opinion, perfection. Simultaneously crispy and chewy with bits of almonds, a few little currants, a little orange flavour (peel?) and honey, dipped on one side in exquisite dark chocolate - words escape me. Crazy good. A lovely holiday (or anytime) treat.
