My wife and I are planning to meet another couple in the Tinley Park area to eat, and I thought of Tin Fish, the seafood restaurant someone once spoke positively about on this board. But Pat Bruno's three-star review in yesterday's Sun-Times said Tin Fish is very loud due to a high, tin ceiling and many tables packed close together. That's enough to keep me out of the place. This reminds me that after posting my initial "Too-loud restaurants" message last January, many of you figured out that Zia's was the place at which the din had ruined our evening. (Many of you also wrote insightfully about the loud = fun mindset, yet another reason I'm addicted to Chowhounds.) For the record, I then wrote to Zia's management with my plaint, but I never got a reply.
