Lotus of Siam Redux

Just for the record, I went to LOS five times this trip to Las Vegas, in parties of 2, 3 (twice), 4, and 14. The food was as great as ever.

Very little has changed since the beginning of the year. The wine list has expanded, with more offerings in red and white wine (and more than 20 wines offered by the glass). Not only Bill, the owner, but now Bang, the young manager, is obsessed with wine, and is the person to ask for recommendations (he'll listen carefully to what you order before offering opinions).

Service has gotten a little more professional (with the warmth retained), and the food comes out a little faster (although LOS still isn't the right place to go to if you want to be out in a half-hour). This finesse was achieved without Bill's presence much of the time. He was away most of the time I was there, about my only complaint about my experience at Lotus.
