Help! New to Los Angeles, Valentine's looming

David | Feb 11, 199908:19 PM

I want to take my fiancee somewhere nice for
Valentine's Day. There are a couple of complications:

1) We just moved to LA (studio City, actually) from
Minnesota and have no idea what is really good.

2) My fiancee is a fairly picky eater -- she likes
Italian food and standard American fare, but not much
else.

3) We really can't afford to spend more than $50 or so
on the meal (see #1)

4) We don't know the area really well (see #1), so
would prefer stuff near us, tho I will drive all over
LA to give her a nice, romantic dinner.

Now: Any ideas anyone?
