I drove through Los Altos Main Street yesterday afternoon after not visting for quite a while. Although I did eat at the Japanese restaurant (I think it was Mikado) not long ago, I did not venture further. Sadly Mikado was terrible. The former Japanese chef who used to work there aeons ago looks like sold the business. Is there also a restaurant called Akane there, or are they one and the same?

So anyway, I saw lots of new restaurants and interesting food spots I don't think I've seen before.
I also didn't venture to the street parallel to there which I'm sure has a few other eating places.

What do the hounds like here? Anything that serves food and/or drink/snacks etc that is good is fair game ;-) I did walk into Saturna cakes, but all they had left with a few small slices, little baked cookie things, didn't get anything.
