Was in Antigua last weekend for work. Stayed at Galley Bay, an all inclusive. Lunch at the Gaugin Restaurant is nothing short of amazing due to the location. The tables are on the sand facing the wonderful sea. Food was pretty good with lovely salads and sandwiches. They served the best lime squash. Breakfast at the Sea Grape features a large buffet of fruits, breads, cereals and juices as well as meats, cheeses and dairy products. The menu is to die for with crabcakes, lovely hash browns, all sorts of egg delights and more. The staff here was wonderful and again, stellar views.
I had cockles at Russells at Fort James. What a find. This lovely old building is THE place to be for Sunday night jazz, drinks and for me cockles. The garlic bread looked great but I passed as I was on a date (wink).
I spent most of the weekend working and drinking so my eating was slacking but next time.
