Long waits for brunch- how long on average?

Terri Cooper | Nov 13, 2003 07:12 AM

I am trying to think through how best to plan our GV "day" when we come to NYC Dec. 21-23. After our drive in early on Sunday morning, I am sure we will be starved and want to eat at a nice, inexpensive place before our touring begins. Have been reading the various threads- like the sounds of 9th St. Market and Clinton St. Bakery, but am concerned about the wait time. We only have Sunday AM into early afternoon to look around and can't afford to wait too long for our meal. If we got to either of these places at 10-10:30 or so, what would our wait be like? Or should I rethink our plan? Any other eatery suggestions? Family of four- traditional American tastes. Thanks!
