For Long Time San Diegans, a sort of cross-post

Jim Strain | Feb 19, 2004 04:04 PM

I don't want to waste bandwidth, but I just saw this on the LA board and I'm STILL gasping for breath. In another post I just mentioned a long-gone restaurant at the northern edge of PB (San Diego's Pacific Beach) that was located in a tiny space at 926 Turquoise and which went on to become a Southern California institution. You can find the original post January 28 by "JC" on the Los Angeles area board. Here's the last line of that message:

"February 29, Gustaf's 60th birthday, will be the last day of Gustaf Anders Restaurant."
