The 12 y o loves McDonald's - will have angst/agita about Mad Cow Foot n Mouth and other nonthreats - but also eats salads, subs, bagels, deli, Vietnamese, Chinese, Italian, some Indian, some Thai, some Japanese. The husband doesn't like Korean. The wife doesn't like Ethiopian or German or French. Who doesn't like Mexican?
We're staying in So. Ken. We love museums/markets/walking tours so if there are museum eateries, we're open. It there's takeaway to take out to a park, we're game.
16 years ago we went to an Indian place that was divine on a dingy st. nr.Tottenham Court Rd - is it still there, Simon? Something like Rasa was the name.
We also saw a movie about several fish and chip restaurants in a Paistani neighborhood - info? advisories?
Now we really know NYC (at least Manhattan) having been here 24 years with and without kids - so we can share lots of info if your summer/future plans include
