Candy has asked for some suggestion on another thread
in relation to the above as she would like to take a
friend out next week. As time is short, I thought I
would start a new thread for this, so let's move this
interesting one forward.
Another very interesting topic is the thread titled
'' One Meal in London, any price! '' which has gone
down the list as newer threads have come along. Am
sure there are many Ivy League connoisseurs out there
who can make some suggestions where price is no
factor, variety is no consideration as long as it
is ''la crème de la crème'', a place where one might
expect stars, and other elite crowd , where ambience
& style is equisite. So go to the above mentioned
thread and help a fellow chowhunder impress his
transatlantic guest that there are indeed places
in London that are far superior to those in the US.
Oh and YES .the suggested place must be within a
reasonable cab ride in London. Anyone having out of
town suggestions may not be deterred from this
restriction as it will always come in handy for
Statistically, it is said that if you take all
of the restaurants in entire England, then London
has 50 percent share of restaurants.
