Lola's produce looks pretty supermarket-ish, but the meat counter is just amazing looking, with chicken feet and hooves and all sorts of things in there. I just ate some tongue I bought there; it looked and tasted like it had never been frozen and never been squeezed into a plastic cover. I also asked if they had beef cheeks, and the woman sawed a meat-colored brick off a large frozen slab for me. I've never cooked it before, but it should be fun.
I wonder where they get the chickens with their feet on and all that interesting stuff?
