Logos, Mascots, Advertising Pranks and other Trix

The Land O' Lakes logo prank of the Indian girl holding a box of butter in front of her has always been known. When the section of the butter box that she is holding is cut away, using a sharp knife thus making a flap which can be lifted to see under it, and placed under it is the lower part of the box which has been folded up in such a way so that the knees of the girl show through the window, the knees appear to be another part of the Indian girls anatomy.

But I have always wondered about that Silly Trix rabbit (I am not alone – see the link) and those original round cereal pieces ("raspberry red, lemon yellow, orange orange") that appear to be the size and shape of rabbit droppings. I wonder whether the size, shape & texture of those pieces of... cereal were intended to be one of those Prinks, or Tricks (Trix?) being played on us by American food makers.

Hey, with this in mind, would it be funny to fill Easter eggs with trix ,or is that just a silly trick?

Anyone have any other pranks they know about? Tootsie Roll or Baby Ruth?
