Locating an old mixer

whatsername85 | Nov 7, 201809:03 AM

I've been wanting a hobart era kitchenaid k5ss for a while, I recently moved into my own place and am finally ready for one. My mom wants to get me one for christmas but I don't have the first clue where to look. I find them on ebay sometimes but they're usually pretty expensive and not in good condition. I can't drive so my options are limited as to how to find one, does anyone know where else I could look? I seem to find the K5-A a lot more, is there a major difference at all between the two? I live in san antonio tx.
