Local Farmstands and Farmers Markets

Lots of local corn available now in the Concord NH area! Tomatoes starting.

I don't usually buy peaches because supermarket peaches are so hard and tasteless. Bought some white peaches and yellow peaches from Diamond Hill Farm at the Penacook Farmers Market (Mondays). The yellow peaches are perfect, so sweet with a hint of cinnamon and honey.

If you are on vacation, you can usually get a list of farmers markets at the state's dept of agriculture website. Really enjoyed the farmers market (Fridays) in Brunswick ME when we are on vacation. Also PYO places have blueberries right now. Mix vanilla yogurt and blueberries for a great picnic dessert. I've seen refrigerated seafood trucks at a couple of markets (Canterbury and Warner).

What's good at your local market or farmstand?
