Has anyone had any experience with Our Harvest, a company now delivering local farm goods and seafood to multiple sites in Nassau, Suffolk and some of the boroughs?
From their web site:
By partnering with farmers, fishermen, and food artisans, we purchase or source our all-natural products locally to maximize freshness, ensure quality and traceability, and keep costs down. No questions about artificial additives, mislabeled products, or where your food comes from. We offer fresh, tasty food the old-fashioned way!
Here's how it works: Customers place orders online through our website. We fulfill the orders and bring them to a convenient location in the community where customers pick-up their food -- sort of like a pop-up farmer's market. In certain regions, we also offer a convenient delivery option. For every order above $25, OurHarvest donates a meal to a local food pantry in or near your neighborhood. Not only are you and your family eating better food; you're giving back to your community at the same time.
