In this time of uncertainly, there are times when I really could go from some Chinese takeout. However I have noticed that, at least around me nearly ALL of the Chinese restaurants appear to have decided to close down completely for the time being. I might expect this from some of the bigger fancier places (some of whom rely a great deal on Dim Sum, like Central Seafood in Hartsdale and [I would imagine] Aberdeen in White Plains) But the little holes in the wall presumably rely mostly on takeout anyway, so I would expect some of them would still be going.

The only thing that occurs to me by way of an explanation is that, with NYC and the outer boroughs under such a state of lock-down, the restaurants can't get the supplies they need to run (All restaurants are probably struggling for supplies, but maybe the ones for Asian places are harder to source that, say those for Pizza parlors [most of which are still open]) And there are a FEW Asian places that are still open as far as I know ( O Mandarin in Hartsdale and On's Kitchen in Pleasantville)

So how is the situation around you?
