My local Belgian Beer Dinner

Tripeler | Nov 14, 201304:08 PM     12

I have a favorite Belgian beer bar here in Tokyo, and once a month they have their Belgian Beer Dinner. This month, on Nov. 13, the theme was "strong, heavy and full-flavored beers" and the selection was:

1. Winterkoninkske (Brouwerij Kerkom)
2. Canaster (De Glazen Toren)
3. Straffe Hendrick Quadrupel (Huisbrouwerij De Halve Maan)
4. Oerbier (De Dolle)
5. Gulden Draak (Van Steenberge)

I thought this was a very diverse and unusual collection. All were quite strong and most were dark colored. What do you think?
