The Lobster in Santa Monica?

Kristin Heintz | May 20, 200304:11 PM     12

Hello! I'm in Boston planning a meeting for a group of 18. They will be visiting Santa Monica in July and would like to have a nice dinner out one evening. Ocean Ave. Seafood was recommended as well as The Lobster. We have someone here that knows Ocean Ave. Seafood and likes it but no one is familiar with The Lobster. Here are our requirements:

-Nice but not CRAZY pricey
-A view would be fabulous
-Not too loud...this group likes to talk and hear each other...a private room with a view would be perfect
-Of course, excellent cuisine
-Within walking distance of Le Merigot

Any ideas? Thanks!!
