Huge disappointment. Maybe it's because I've just gotten back from Massachusetts or maybe because we got there fairly late on a Saturday night but... the lobster roll comes as an open face sandwich, has tons of mayo, and only had evidence of claw meat, of which there was little. If I was blindfolded and given a bite, I'm not sure I would have guessed it was lobster.
Since lobster rolls were recently discussed on the board, I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents on Nicks'. I'd avoid this version.
Other diners ordered the crab cake sandwich (pronounced good but market price of $16) and the fish sandwich which was good but fish-y (and I'm not one to usually say that). The type of fish in the sandwich was not identified on the menu and asking the waitress would probably have been fruitless. The star of the meal was the crab dip w/ big chunks of crabmeat and the french fries (oddly crinkle fries but with a good seasoning).
