Our kids are shipping two large lobsters (could they possibly be 24 oz. each?) and some prawns from Pike's Market in Seattle for Father's day. I feel very lucky indeed to be on the receiving end with him.
The website recommending boiling lobster for 7 minutes, butterflying and boiling in an oven for 11 minutes. Since the prawns can cook on grill, I'm thinking of grilling the lobster alongside instead of broiling. Does that sound like a good plan? Any suggestions appreciated.
Another question, what would be a killer side dish or excellent accompaniment to this wonderful food? Probably just the two of us but will save some to treat two daughters, son-in-law, three kids, ages 9, 5, and 3 with a tasting. Any ideas about all of the above. Thanks. Connie, midwesterner thrilled to get great seafood.
