Lively places in Paris to take my parents who enjoy good, hearty food?

My wife and I will be showing Paris to my Mexican/American parents. They are unfussy eaters (they'll eat anything) and appreciate and enjoy good food. French food is new to them and I'd like to keep it simple. Rustic instead of haute cuisine. Perhaps a place with a good confit de canard, boeuf bourguignon? They also love seafood so a place that serves great oysters perhaps?

We're staying near Cadet Metro station and would appreciate any recommendations (I expect them to be tired, they sometimes move slowly) as to nearby cafes, shops etc

To give you an idea, I've checked out this board and these are the sorts of places I think my parents would like and enjoy:

- Robert et Louise
- Au Fil des Saisons?
- Chartier
- Les Papilles
- La Fontaine de Mars

Thank you in advance.
