Haven't lived in Toronto in 10 years - visiting for 10 days - what should I eat?

Roxy3 | Sep 8, 201704:59 PM     23

Hi All,
I was born and raised in TO but have lived in the USA for the last 10 years in a rural area with no access to anything good. All my old haunts are closed. Please help me eat all the good things for the next 10 days. Here is what I am looking for (in the West End or Downtown proper please!!) Cheap eats only! Holes in the wall and dives are perfect :)

1. Best Roti/West Indian
2. Best Chinese (I used to love Happy 7, Rol San and Champion House)
3. Best Vietnamese Subs/ Pho (was so sad to find out Bahn Mi Che Cali is closed)
4. Best Indian
5. Best lahmajoun

Anything else I shouldn't miss?
