Just discovered a seafood place in my neighbourhood (Bill's Lobster in Toronto) that sells live shrimp.
What do I do with such a thing and how much of the shrimp can one eat??
Once in Japan I remember being served grilled shrimp heads which were delicious, but I am not sure if I have to clean them or what.
If so how do I clean them? Is there a stomach/gills/interior parts I have to remove?
Are all shrimp edible like this or only some varieties?
I think the place is reputable so let's assume I trust the source, and that I am not worried about contaminants of any sort. Just want tips on cooking!
