I have made a list of things I've never tried and want to. Can someone tell me where I can find the best of each one (preferably Westchester, but NYC is fine). Or the best way to prepare it, if it's not incredibily difficult to make well.
I finally had steak tartare which was on my list, and I thought I found heaven. Can't wait to have it again.
Here's the list and I appreciate any tips.
Foie Gras - not pate, real Foie Gras.
A Mojito - sad, but I've never had one.
Sweetbreads - I was told Jackie's Bistro in Eastchester for this one.
Egg's Benedict w/ real blood sausage - I've had this, but not in years.
I know I'll think of more, but those are the ones fresh in my mind.
