Ate two nights ago at Liquors, a very new addition to the, uh, row of restaurants on DeKalb Street, and it's delightful. (I don't know the exact address, but it's one block north of Madiba, and it has a great big sign above the door "Liquors" left over from the former occupant.) It's small (about a dozen tables and a small bar) and dim but cheerfully busy. Not a huge menu, but adventurous--I had a sort of bruschetta made with fresh sardines (a bit heavy on the balsamic vinegar) and pair of dainty lamb chops (the dish came in two sizes), which rocked. Biggish wine list, with lots of Spanish and South American reds, most by the glass. Yeah!
