Just thinking about linzer torte makes my mouth water and it's impossible to find here in SF - one bakery said it wouldn't sell and one, Asian, didn't even know what it was. It's so weird because it's such a classic. Like being unable to find apple pie in a major city. You'd think it would be widely available - but no.
