I'm here with the Hollywood stars filming THE DA VINCI CODE at Lincoln Cathedral. Three nights so far and three fine meals: The Pie Shop: Broccoli and Stilton Soup followed by Cheese Pie (why not?); Epanay (A champagne and seafood restaurant): Seafood Bisque and Poached Variety of Seafood and Shellfish; The Old Bakery, Tangy roasted tomatoe soup and Rose Veal Chop. All on a par with excellent restaurants in London, and much better than most. We're all very happy to find good food in what's regarded by some as a backwater. Don't miss Stokes Coffee, housed in a 16th century house perched on a 12th century bridge in the Central City. Enjoy!
