Ever heard of the "cubicle 50"? I've been out of college and working in a cubicle for 3 years and somehow managed to gain 50 lbs! Needless to say, I need to drop a few pounds!
So, does anybody have any tips on how to make lighter fare that still tastes good? Without using all those weird lecithin/oil sprays and non-butter globs of bright yellow substitutes?
I've also recently purchased the cookbook "A New Way to Cook" but have not cooked from it yet. The premise is to use real fats (bacon fat, olive oil, etc) in small quantities to add some of the taste of fat without the whollop of calories. Are there any other light cookbooks out there that you 'hounds can recommend?
Any help/insight would be greatly appreciated!
