I cut it, took half of it out of its skin and found it to be grossly underripe. It's not a haas (sp?); it's pretty large and the skin isn't as bumpy (same colour though). There's no oily smoothness to it at all, it has a crispiness to the bite, like a soft carrot. Is there anything I can do to it to give it some life, even though I've already cut it?
