Leslieville pubs or other casual dinner options

julesrules | Dec 12, 201406:28 PM     8

I know it seems silly given all the Leslieville discussions here but I am having trouble coming up with a dinner place that meets certain criteria: several fairly plain chicken/fish options for non-red meat eaters, casual, not pizza. I realize most of the area is "casual", but I'm thinking my friend means on the cheaper end and not multiple courses, wine etc.

I think I'm looking for something pretty basic. Pub food vs foodie hipster. The Roy and Prohibition both seem pretty reviled here. Even Boots and Bourbon manages to offend with its piggy menu section. I am actually considering the Queen's Head... Any other suggestions???
