Les Sisters in Chatsworth?

Woody | Apr 11, 200505:15 AM

I had a negative experience today at my first visit to Les Sisters on Devonshire in Chatsworth. Is it worth a second chance?
We ordered an oyster po-boy and a two-piece fried chicken dinner, sides were yams and mac. The po-boy had only three oysters and a minced tomato and pepper dressing. Unfortunatly, the bread was stale and one of the three oysters was tough, chewy, and bitter. I was very disapointed. The mac and cheese was thin and flavorless, just a watery sauce.
The other meal was the chicken and yams. Both were rather blah. The yams had the right texture, but not much flavor. They were less sweet than at M&M or Flossie's, closer to the the yams at Baby Blue's. I think the yams were the best thing I had today. The chicken was a small serving and pretty generic. I honestly didn't think the chicken was any better than the supermarket's.
So my question is: What's good here? They have some serious creole dishes on the menu and BBQ too. Is there anything here worth going back for?
