Just went to Lenox last weekend.
Ate at Cafe' Lucia Friday night.
The food was outstanding!
Osso Bucco was the best I've ever had.
Everyone in our party raved about the food.
Service was outstanding as well.
Saturday we had reservations for Vendura in Great Barrington.
We called before we left for the restaurant and their phone message said that they had closed due to "Blizzard Charles".
When I made the dinner reservation the week before they asked us where we were staying and we told them.
They called our home address in N.Y. about 2:45 P.M. Saturday to tell us they were closing .
They never called us at our hotel even though they had the phone number and they knew we were staying in Lenox for the weekend.
We would have driven 15 miles in a storm just to have found out that they were closed.
We then went to Zinc Cafe in Lenox to eat but got there at 4:00 P.M..
Dinner was at 5:30 PM and we sat at the bar while the storm raged.
The barmaid forgot all about us and all the other guests at the bar and she "disappeared" for over 40 minutes!
Several angry bar patrons left before their dinner reservations at 5:30 P.M.
What lousy bar staff! No one on duty at all.
Hopefully the food is better than the management!
We went over to "From Ketchup to Caviar" who had lost most of their local reservations due to the storm.
Another outstanding dinner!
1st Class Service,attentive help,and great food.
Sunday morning brunch at the Cranwell Resort, which is always great, and we drove home.
